Let's Talk Lashes

Hello Angels, Happy New Year! I've found so many new and easy makeup hacks. I know a lot of people struggle with lashes. I was on my weekly stroll inside of Ulta last year and I stumbled across this item, it came with lashes and the liner. It took me less than 2 minutes to put both lashes on I was sold. They stayed on and didn't lift until I took them off. I tested them out on a girl's trip to Malibu, and when I tell you it worked on any lashes, and it gave what its suppose to give.

The reason I have to say I prefer these over the magnetic lashes is the fact that the liner can be messy but give you a thicker line than you would normally want. In this kit the liner was clear so its no extra wing or line if you don’t want that. I feel like if you are new to lashes this will be a easy way for you to apply them. You just line your eye, set your lashes, press down and you are done.

The application is like a felt pen, so it gives you more ease and movement. It also takes out the hassle with touch ups. If the corner lifts, it’s a real easy fix. I like that it doesn’t clump up either. It's really beginner friendly if you struggle with the typical eyelash glue.

I would say give this a try if you want to wear lashes and the magnetic lashes are not working out or a bit too messy for you. It also comes in black also if you want a black liner look. I will say though, to remove them you will need a makeup removing oil like micellar water. I typically use Lancome Double action eye makeup remover with a q-tip. This gets it all off with one swap. If you want extra glam pick these up.

Human Hair Wig Reviews

Hello Angels I hope everyone is well on this great Sunday. It's been a long week. I'm excited to have some time to unwind a bit!

This week I’m talking about companies I’ve recently purchased my wigs from. I'm going to give my honest review on the units and if I would reorder them. I have been working out at least five days a week so I’ve been doing alot of protective styling and really keeping styles that I am able to wash and care for my natural hair. If I’m also being perfectly honest, I definitely got my money's worth from both units I’m reviewing. So let’s drive straight into this week's blog.

The first wig I will be giving you my opinion on is from Beauty Forever. I purchased the Beauty Forever Trendiest Strawberry Blonde Hair Lace Wigs Human Hair Colored Wigs Straight Hair Lace Part Wig. I purchased it back in March. It’s not a full lace, it's a lace closure. I wanted to still be able to protect my edges. Right out of the box I co-washed her. That's when I realized she had a body wave texture. She had no smell to her, I just wanted to wash it. Then I let her air dry on a manikin head. The next day I straightened her and I was in love.

The color is everything. When I first received her it was really no shedding. I’ve been wearing her off and on for the last couple of months. She also holds curls very well. I must say she has gotten better with time. I love her even if she's natural or straight. I have since dyed and added two tracks just for more fullness. I have a bundle of 613 I used Adore 52 French Cognac to achieve the color of this unit. Everything blended so nicely. I washed her using Chi products, especially since I was putting heat on it. I would definitely recommend purchasing this unit. Especially if you're new to wigs and you don't wanna be bothered with a full lace. This is really easy and the hair is nice and soft. This unit is just beautiful.

Big Curls

So these days you can find anything on Amazon so I purchased this wig in April. I wanted a curly natural not a lot of fuss. She is the BLY Human Hair Lace Wig Deep Wave 4x4 Lace Closure. When I saw my Amazon package I got excited! I pulled her out. My first impression was that she was cute! I went through the same process. I washed her with Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner. I finished the process with the 3minute Miracle Moist deep conditioner with avocado & Australian Jojoba Oil. While I was detangling with a wet brush. I then let her air dry overnight. The next morning the curls were giving way more. I wore her in her natural state at first. I then realized I wanted more of a wet moisture look. I then used Miracle Curls leave in detangling milk. I always use a detangling brush with the detangling milk. Every time it gave the curls a new look. When I was in the shower I would just condition the hair, detangle it and add the milk. If I was in a rush I just added the detangling milk. I loved the look every time. This unit you will have to put in work to keep her looking nice. She is not a get up and go type of unit. However she is absolutely Gorgeous and I didn't mind the extra effort. Also she is very full at first you think its thin when you pull it out the package once you co-wash and apply. You will see the true beauty! I used Olive Oil Super Hold Wig grip gel and got2be spray to lay the lace closure down. There hasn't been a lot of shedding, which is a good thing in my opinion. If you are looking for vacation hair, which is what she was for me, she will give exactly what she is supposed to give. She will not disappoint!

Affordable Lashes

Hello Angels, I hope you all had a great week!

Since the weather has been warming up, I have been doing makeup and “no makeup” looks. Let's talk about affordable lashes that pull either look together.

They are the Ioni Lashes you can pick them up exclusively at Dollar Tree. These are the best natural looking lashes. It's hard to find a mink lash. It's also a great lash if you wear glasses, because they don't hit your lenses. The band is nice and sturdy. They can last up to 5 times easily when properly cleaned. I’ve slept in them and they stayed in place all night. I bought lashes for $12.00 that don't compare to these.

They have them in different styles which are all faux mink and all tasteful in my opinion. They are very comfortable and easy to put on. I always pick up about 10 pairs at a time when I go in so that I have them on hand. If I’m doing a client or my own face, it is always good to have them. Not to mention my teenage girls will grab a pair sometimes. I was a big fan of the magnetic lashes but I must say I’ve been wearing these for awhile and I have not gone back to any other brands! I will truly stick with these. I can say that they don't feel heavy nor do they irritate your eyes. Some of the other brands are so fragile and tear easily however, I haven't had that problem with this brand. Until next week Angels!
