This week I’m getting right into it. I know that everyone is probably having cabin fever so finding different activities to do instead of the same normal routine is a must. I’ve added more to my normal gym routine. So I needed a protective style. I think I noticed that when I was down on the mat doing my ab exercises, I went to get up then I felt my wig shift. I was like oh no! I was scared that it was gonna be left on the mat and be disconnected from my head. So it's safe to say I started looking for protective styles.

I picked up these boho locs a few months ago and they were hanging out in my hair closet. I wasn't sure if I would like the way these would look on me. I must say I’m in love with how convenient they were. I know you are thinking what are you talking about? The product is Freetress BoHo Hippie Loc 20 inch color 4. I purchased 5 packs but I only used 3. I didn't use the full third pack and I still have a few pieces left.

The braiding pattern was as follows: Box braids in the front connected to each other. then into bigger braids into the back, then sewed down. I will take a picture next time. This time I really wasn't sure how this was going to work out since this was my first time trying it out.

Pros

Easy to install. Low maintenance and very light. Very full gorgeous curls.

Cons

Curls started to tangle at the end but I just clipped them and kept going.

I went through it for the first time yesterday morning to detangle. I cleansed my scalp with apple cider vinegar and conditioner and then trimmed the ends. I sprayed my scalp with Studeaux 15, a growth oil. It makes my scalp feel nice and moisturized. I also made another mix that I applied to my edges. I will give more details on both products once I take my faux locs down.

In going into my third week with this hair and I have to say I would repurchase this hair. I have not taken care of this hair the best some nights. I throw it up in a bun and just go to sleep. I have not put a bonnet on it every night It has still held up in the midst of all that. It’s sweat proof after the gym. It's still looking nice so I'm going to push it to 4 weeks then I will take it down. I’ve really enjoyed this no fuss no maintenance stress free style.

So until next week I leave you with these final words,

"You only have so much Emotional Energy each day. Don't fight Battles that Don't Matter."- Joel Osteen
